"I have a cannonball wound! It's GAPING!"

Good news everyone, my two scuffed DVDs play perfectly.  (I know you were all concerned.)  And, the first episode I watched had the aforementioned Kimidori in it, though I'm still baffled as to why she gets her own CD, multiple appearances in the trading card set, and shows up in the opening credits.  She's in there for like...five minutes.  She's the one who comes to the SOS Brigade saying her boyfriend is missing, and it ends up being the president of the computer club.  So I don't feel quite as dumb for having no idea who she was.

I need to get Tricia to watch this show because I know she'd love it, but it's so hard to get her to sit down for anything.  Even when it's something she loves, like The Wallflower, it still takes me a week or more to get her to watch it with me.  At least this time I won't be delaying my Netflix watchin' for her.  I've been watching my Netflix stuff super fast lately, so I am finally making a dent in my queue (still have 286 DVDs in there though x_x).  I'm trying to get through a lot before school starts, because then I'll be slow again.  I just got disc 4 of season 3 of CSI - that's a show I've been ripping through.  There are a lot more seasons than I thought!  Time to catch uuuuuup!  I've forgotten how much I love CSI (and also Nick and Grissom and Warrick, but akshully mostly Nick).

I also got the first disc of a new anime, called Piano.  Anyone seen this?  I think Netflix recommended it to me a while ago so I just added it, and it finally made its way to the top.  Maybe I'll watch that tonight.  It sounds slow and relaxing, so we'll see if it turns out to be placidly enjoyable or just boring.  But for now, I'm watching I Walked On the Moon, since I just got my replacement DVD.  This one came with a little booklet that has Brian Regan talking about each of the chapter headings!  There wasn't one of those when I bought my first copy back when it first came out, so I guess that makes it a little better that I had to buy a second one.  :3
