Once upon a time, there was a man who died
I just spent the afternoon watching eight episodes of Princess Tutu, and WOW. Just wow. That show is amazing and srsly almost had me crying at the last episode of the Chapter of the Egg. The whole show is split into two chapters, so now I've seen the first. It reached a conclusion, so I have no idea where things are going next. But it is AMAZING. The first few episodes are kind of weird, because the setting and background are totally bizarre and they have to establish that before the story can go anywhere. Once it really takes off though, and you start getting backstory, and and and..... T_______T <3 <3 <3
I worry about the ending. People keep saying that Princess Tutu's destiny was to never be with the one she loved, and that when she confessed her feelings she would turn into a speck of light and vanish (very like the original Little Mermaid). I....assume that's not actually going to happen at the end. :x Considering that a lot of the other characters are "destined" to meet horrible ends, like the prince is destined to live without his heart, and Duck is dead set on restoring it, I think the theme of fighting fate is a major part and hopefully means that everyone will be able to change the way the story ends.
Also, watching Fakir dance made me feel like I was melting. *___* And lastly, Duck and Fakir need to make out RIGHT NOW.
