Jam Handy reminds you to keep your preserves in a convenient place
Last night I decided to unwind with some MST3K. Instead of opting for one of the ones I haven't seen, I decided to revisit an old favorite. I was pretty sure I'd end up watching something off box set 4, since that was the first one I got and it's been the longest since I saw those (Hamlet, Space Mutiny, Overdrawn at the Memory Bank, and Girl in Gold Boots). However, flipping through I came across Squirm, and that had to be it. It's been ages since I watched that one, and that officially has to be the next one we all watch together u guyz. NOW YOU GONNA BE DA WORM FACE. *flails* Plus, during the host segments, Pearl is putting on a county fair, and naturally, she is very bad at it. "What do you guys have for THE FAIR??"
And now I have five guest comics! Plus, Alan said that if his classes are boring today, he will draw me one. I say that's a pretty good bet. He also gave me an awesome idea for a strip that I'm going to use in January (yes, it has to wait until then). All my guest comics are arriving just in time for me to discover that it is not terribly likely that I will have internet access on board. 9_9 I leave on Thursday, and will have it until Sunday, when we get on the ship. Once we're on the ship there's no guarantee that my dad's Verizon wireless card will work, which does not bode well for guest comics, nor my homework that I am supposed to e-mail to my teachers. I don't know if it's because we're not in the US or just because we're over open water; maybe when we're in port in the Bahamas (I'M GOING TO THE BAHAMAS OMG) we can get reception. I don't know. I even had some good ideas of drawing a comic or two of Rufus on a cruise before we leave, and putting those up sporadically through the week. All my best-laid plans have gone astray! We'll see. If I can't put any up that week, I can just extend my vacation a few days to accomodate guest comics, or save them for finals week (or any other time I don't feel like posting). It'll all work out; I love guest comics, and no one's sent me anything inappropriate, so I want to use them all. Even though there are two I don't really get. Not in a "I think these are dirty" sort of way, but just...I don't get them. XD
Anyway, time to go start packing, maybe. Or doing a comic or two. Or reading Skip Beat! vol. 9, because it came today and it is calling to me. Seductively. Very seductively. You know that voice.
