How did I get so boring?
After signing a contract that said she would be leaving for Japan "on or about June 1st", Amy is finally packing to leave on Monday. Hmm...only 2 months late. The contract was originally for 3 months of dancing, but with all the delays she had her boss change it to 2 months so she can get back for the Rockettes season which starts Oct. 12--rehearsals in Myrtle Beach. She got her 1st choice cast--Houston/Dallas, so all of the Texas relatives are thrilled. The casting has been really weird this year, though. There's a new director, so I'm sure she's making a lot of changes. The 60% girls have all been told which casts they're in, and one of Amy's friends who is a Rockette who had to audition has been told she's made it. ...but there's still an open audition on Monday! I think it's weird that they've made all of these decisions before all the auditions are finished.
