I just walked into my kitchen to see a BAT crawling around on the floor. Whilst English bats are a laughable excuse for batdom, compared to where I am from, at this proximity they are less than cuddly looking

Awesome! I see quite a few bats in this neck of the woods, too ... nice to see, less nice to have to actually - yanno - wrestle, I imagine.

this is only the second time i've seen any in the uk. they're about 1/100 in size to the version from the old country, but still! i like them better in parks.

i do try to discourage the killing of mammals in my flat. /bleeding heart liberalism

many other classes of creature are okay to be sacrificed though.

Aww ... I know what you mean. It's never nice when wildlife comes to visit. Do they ever bring flowers? No.
