Finally! A Sense of Self.
the other day i was driving at
sunset by myself just to drive, and i was listening to the Shins and it
smelled like camping outside and for the first time in ages, i was
content. it's been so long since i've felt that the world was
beautiful, and it just feels so good. i still feel broken somewhat, but
i feel content, and it's nice that a band can restore that in someone.
Landon was right about the Shins though, i can't imagine me being friends with someone who doesn't like them. you know what i mean.
yesterday i finished the first book i've read since i've moved out. i don't know how i fucking (stupidly) went that long without reading, but it really was one of the best books i've ever read.
You Shall Know Our Velocity by Dave Eggers (Dave Eggers, so amazing!!) I recommend this book so so highly.
i haven't been keeping up with a lot of people so i'm sorry, but i've worked like 7 days in a row, and i've just felt like being alone lately. i have tomorrow off and i can't wait to do absolutely nothing and just relax.
