(yet again we have a scenic change in the musebox. the sun swelters as it shines down on the landscape; a barren desert with nothing to see for miles and miles, the distant horizon looking like a mirage through the heatwaves rising off the sand. the occasionally winds kick up the grains and swirl them into the air in mini cyclones that die as fast

Grunting in annoyance the Hashshashin hopped from one high perch to another. At least something had caught his eye. Or rather, someone. He began to sneakily make his way toward that certain someone. A someone who was kinda wearing clothing that looked all too familiar. And yet at the same time was slightly off from his Brotherhood.
Well, he'd figure it all out one way or another.]
...the fact that you're easy to sneak up upon, or the fact that this desert looks drier than the Judean Desert?

nevertheless, a tiny smirk curled his lips, hidden from the view of the older man.)
Would you like to know?
(heat wasn't going to stop Ezio, even now; and suddenly he took off like a shot, one moment standing stockstill and in the next running with the grace of a cat across the rooftop, jumping from the edge onto the next one over. yes, he was initiating, more or less, a game of tag with the other assassin.)

it stopped and his enjoyment quickly faded, however, when he spotted a large devil laying on a rock nearby his most recent perch on a rooftop. and a rather familiar devil at that: Dante's devil. but well... there was no one here to hurt and the devil looked pretty damn comfortable where it was. maybe it'd be too content to attack anybody anyway.
and how comfortable it looked ended up luring Cato over to it cautiously, staring up at the creature that had once nearly killed him. it looked like... well, in his eyes a cat in the sun. many would probably disagree with him but many probably also weren't fellow devils. he was half-tempted to approach it, join it where it lay so happily in the sun but stayed a respectful distance away at the moment, not wanting to risk getting attacked again.)

As it was the eight-foot devil simply kept a lidded eye on its new fellow demon, refusing to get off its rock for some pest. It rumbled once, a brief disgruntled sound that was much like a human snorting in vague annoyance.]

eventually he got close enough to sink to sit on the ground beside the other, his back against the rock. as tempting as it was to just close his eyes and snooze in the warmth right then and there Cato didn't allow himself to relax until the other did.)
