Freedom for a Song
A U.S. judge has invalidated the copyright on "Happy Birthday to You", which was held for 120 years. It turns out the lyrics were not properly copyrighted, only the piano arrangement. So feel free to post those birthday parties on YouTube (but use something other than a piano to accompany those voices)!
