This morning, upon hearing a sqeaking noise as my front door opened, I realized that the baloons that are normally blowing out in front of or apartment complex were now blowing from the front door knob outside. The sheer thickness of this bundle made it some trouble to get the door to open. Once I had the baloons in the house, I couldn't stop giggling. I snuck them into my roommate's rom, who took it for a lucid dream at the time.
This would be the perfect month to
write a novel. Well, screw it, I got
really busy just lately. If anyone wants to come see
The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde, it's running at the
DAC for the next three weeks. Then, next weekI start rehersals on Schopenhauer in Hell which'll run, what, the second week of december? Yeah, just in time to be done with the DAC work.
Pffft, right, I never even said what I'm DOING on these. Ok, so for the 48er, I'm a floater, doing whatever position is most needed at the time, brancing between grip, boom operator, asst. video, or whatever. For the DAC thang I'm asst. stage managing and props guru, and for Schop I'm designing the lights and running them for the show.
I'd like to take this time to deffinately recomend Schop, as Shanta and Mic are acting in it together, as well as the director, Content, so it's going to be one bad ass show to say the least.
So I went to an allergist today, and the results are in...
Wanna get creeped out? Yes, that's right, DUST MITES!!!
Adult females lay up to 40 to 80 eggs singly or in small groups of three to five. After eggs hatch, a six-legged larva emerges. After the first molt, an eight-legged nymph appears. After two nymphal stages occur, an eight-legged adult emerges. The life cycle from egg to adult is about one month with the adult living an additional one to three months.
-Prevaliant motherfuckers, ey?
-In case you wish to know just how to care for and maintain these household vermin, you will be interested to know what they munch on...YOU!
The diet is varied with the primary food source, consisting of dander (skin scales) from humans and animals. However, needed nutrients can be provided from fish food flakes, pet food, fungi, cereals, crumbs, etc. Many mite species live in bird's nests, in barns, among stored grain, straw, etc.
-Mmm, such delightful treats...
So now onto a subjcet that does not involve tiny, pesky vermin...
Aww, fuck it...I really just want to get back to reading Sandman... See you in my dreams...
