Directing Intention

A concept introduced to me at EFT a few weeks ago was that intention is like a genie in a bottle. Whatever you desire, the genie goes and serves it to you. The thing you have to understand about magick though, is that when you put your mind towards what you intend upon, you have to be really damn specific, because the genie doesn't discern the

I've always really appreciated that friend that I don't have to actually spend time with, but just be out at a cafe doing our own things...

the key is to focus on good, and beautiful and loving things...

positive things...

healthy things...

kind things...

that old corny line of faith, love and hope really does have meaning and value.

Sorry for being so, well, shallow and petty...
I mean, I actually got a lot out of what was said here, don't get me wrong, but yeah, I "geeked" to think that one of my favorite artists/writers was reading my journal AND had such insightful things to say to me.

i have a friend in NJ who told me about EFT. I have yet to try to practice it, but i know it helped her a lot thru some rough times

are there meetings here in austin?
