(no subject)
I had a dream last night that Mt. Rainier was erupting. I was on this... sandbar? or something and my mom was there, and the mountain looked cool, like it was glowing red, but then all this lava started shooting out, and I wasn't sure what to do. Then I looked on the other side of the sandbar and two more volcanoes were erupting too! I told everyone there that we needed to leave and get as far away as possible, I started to leave with my mom, but I turned back to tell these other people, who may have been anthropomorphic animals that they should evacuate. Then I passed this subway stop, and I saw my friend Adam in the subway car, but I called my mom first to make sure she's left already, and I was holding up the train, and it was weird.
A couple days ago, I had a dream that I was trying to go to Disneyland with Alan and Gary, but also trying to be with this girl or something, and I was having an awful time trying to juggle both.

On the fourth I went to Pat and Renee's house on the water and we shot off fireworks and ate too much. It was really neat because everybody who lived on the water was doing the same thing, so even when we ran out of mortars, you could just watch everyone else' shooting up all along the shore. It kind of reminded me of the end of Return of the Jedi...
The day after, Benny got me on board the Hawaiian Chieftain gratis for a sunset cruise. It was totally sweet. He's all about sailing the tall ships, and it was cool to see how the sails move around, and I finally figured out how a block and tackle works! I think maybe one day I might want to learn how to sail. "We used to call it the duck, but nobody did, so now we call it the boom."

I took my GRE on Thursday, and I got a 610 on verbal, which is low compared to my pretest scores, and a whopping 790 on the quantitative, which is pretty sweet (it's out of 800). I'm going to get into this program, and move back to California, and intern someplace sweet.
