Magic Morning
I have this alarm on my phone that goes off every morning at 8:15. I set it when I was on vacation, so I could wake up early and go to Disneyland, but I never turned it off. So every morning, when I'm on the bus to work, or sleeping in on a Saturday, or what have you, it starts buzzing, and I get really excited, as if it's an unforeseen text message or a phone call or something worth getting excited about, but it's just the stupid alarm I set.
I don't know why I don't turn it off.
Maybe it kind of reminds me of being on vacation, even when I'm obviously not vacationing?
One day, when I least suspect it, I'm going to get a real text at 8:15 AM, and I'll probably overlook it for several hours.
Missed my bus, so I think I'm going to eat ice cream for breakfast.
