I bought a scale today so that I can have some sort of tangible way of measuring my efforts to lose some weight. I was sure that I'd be lighter than I was since I quit drinking a while ago. Unfortunately I'm pretty much the heaviest I've ever been. I've put on about twenty lbs since my senior year of college. How'd that happen?
Anyway now that I've solved for x, I need to put more effort into getting out of the "overweight" category. I'll probably need to just start running again. I think it burns calories more effectively than just riding my bike, although sometimes it feels kind of hard on my knees. Excuses excuses. Tomorrow I get some exercise, rain or shine.
