Changes.
The winds of change are a blowing again. I'm waiting for a phone call about a potential new employment opportunity that would significantly boost my income, and allow me to seek out new housing more effectively. I'm going to be pretty much useless until I figure out where this is going, one way or the other. I'm pretty confident that no matter what the results, things will fall into place. It's just like Mr. Petty says, the waiting is the hardest part.
My cat died early Sunday morning. :( I got PJ when I was about 9, or rather, she got me. My dad and I were hanging out at this lady from Church's house, so we could use her pool. I think. Anywho, we hear a car pull up outside, stop and drive away. A few minutes later, we are greeted by a mewing, happy kitten. My father was unconvinced that we should keep her (as we already had several cats) and wanted to leave her for the Church family to deal with. PJ had clearly made her choice, however. As we got in the car to leave, PJ literally JUMPED IN through the open windown, and into my lap. My Dad totally caved at that point, and we kept her. We've had her ever since.
Even when I left home, PJ was still my cat. I always made sure to spend some time with her whenever I would visit my mom. Now, about 18 years later, she's gone. She had a good life, and I will miss her. :*(
In unrelated news, having naturally long eyelashes and needing to wear contacts is a cruel, cruel joke.
