MMA vs Boxing thread!! Cool!!! hahahaha...no, just kidding...

but not..i saw de la hoya-mayweather and barely fell asleep...MMA is more dynamic, exciting and (the most important thing) multidimensional than boxing. A MMA match can end in multiple ways...a sudden kick in your face..an unexpected submission...

But it's a bad thing the pro box guys reaction against MMA ( all that "human cockgihting" or "thugs stuff" things) 'cause MMA and BOX can exists together.

No box bouts can hold a candle to the protracted "how the fuck will end that fight" drama of MMA ;)

Seriously...MMA and Box fills different needs...MMA needs fix some little things for gain more credit (eliminate the cage and make the fights on a pride-like ring will improve MMA image) and BOX needs to learn little things from his little grandson MMA (dynamism!!! flash like action! how to broke the clinch!! )

But at the end is a custion of personal preferences. For me any Karo Parisyan fight is more exciting than 1000 DLH-Mayweather everlasting clinches.

Hey! You noticed i improved my english? Reading english novel last months ;)

I agree they fill different needs and I love both. My only point here is that it is rare in MMA to get a long, back-and-forth championship bout. It seems one guy usually gets the upper-hand and eventually finishes. That is also good because I don't always want a long battle, but when I do boxing has that.

And I agree about the surprise factor of MMA ... no oneis perfect, so underdogs can find a weakness and beat even heavy favorites (Serra, Gonzaga, Sokoudjo).

I also used to hate the cage but now I am becoming used to it. We have some new federations in the US that use the ring, and as long as I get a good mix of both I'm happy.

Ready for Quinton Jackson vs. Dan Henderson? MMA's first real championship unification match!
