Adam Lambert, once a huge star himself, runs the program. Kris stays one day to watch the kids practice, and finds himself drawn to Adam, who has a magical touch with the children. Kris finds himself offering to help with the production, painting sets and sewing costumes, which he really sucks at, just for the opportunity to get to know Adam.
When Adam finds out that Kris can play the piano, and sing, he gives Kris a more active role in the production. Adam and Kris have a lot in common, but Adam is determined to keep things professional, despite that one kiss they shared. When he reached town Kris was mistakenly thought to be the new boy expected at the bordello. Still, Kris comes to him and the old sparks between them flicker into a raging fire. And, Adam still wants Kris - in his bed and on his label, wants him enough to legally shackle himself to his former friend.

Kris is not pleased when they cancel his tour and put him in protective custody, until he meets the man responsible for his safety. Kris doesn’t mind being stuck in a hotel suite with Adam Lambert, because he’s interesting to talk to, and he makes Kris laugh. He’s not bad on the eyes, either.
Adam is also the best kisser Kris has ever met.
Kris wants to taste Adam’s kisses again, but Adam refuses to let himself get distracted (not even when Kris walks around in a towel, fresh from the shower, or all sleepy and bedhead-y). People underestimate Kris; they think of him as mellow and laid back, and don’t see the steely determination that lies beneath the surface. And Kris is determined to get his man.

Kris decided to go into law at a young age after he witnessed a man kill his girlfriend and had to testify, so he saw the way the system worked up close. He spent five years in the prosecutor’s office, but one too many deals or rushed cases where a conviction was more important than justice broke his spirit. Now he’s working for the other side.

Adam is charged with killing his ex-boyfriend, Bradley Bell, even though he insists that they remained best friends and there was no jealousy over the fact that Bell had moved on. Adam claims that he’s innocent, and Kris believes him. He’s just not sure he can prove it.
The Complication: Kris is falling in love with Adam.
It’s difficult not to fall for Adam, especially when Adam is cute, and funny, and insists on kissing Kris every chance he gets, but Kris is determined to concentrate on the case so that Adam doesn’t spend the rest of his life behind bars for a crime he didn’t commit. Can Kris keep Adam out of jail, and not lose his heart in the process?
46. Kris Allen and Adam Lambert met at the Academy. They worked their way up through the ranks together, partners on and off the force. Until something came between them. When a killer targets gay men, they’re brought back together to work the case. The catch, it requires them to go undercover as lovers at the same club from which the men are disappearing.
Kris is determined to solve the case, and equally determined to hide the fact that he never stopped loving Adam. It’s easier said than done when they have to be around each other 24/7. What will Kris do when he realizes that Adam feels the same? Will the killer give them a chance to explore a future together, or will he strike before they have the opportunity?
47. Kris Allen and Adam Lambert were once the best of friends, brought together by a common experience. Kris even thought he was in love with Adam, but time and distance have separated them. It’s been several years since Kris has even seen Adam, until someone starts killing the American Idol winners.
Adam freaks out and kidnaps Kris because he doesn’t believe that Kris will take the proper precautions on his own. Kris can call no one for help, mainly because Adam left Kris’ phone at his house so no one could trace him, but also because his family was complicit in said kidnapping.
Kris is determined to remain irritated with Adam for kidnapping him, but being with Adam 24/7 reminds Kris how much he likes Adam and enjoys hanging out with him. And just why he fell in love with him in the first place. Kris finds himself less concerned with the madman killing Idols, and more worried that he won’t be able to hide his growing feelings from Adam.
48. Kris Allen, fresh off a world tour, is suffering from exhaustion. His management sends him on a tropical vacation for a month. Kris thinks a month on his own is going to suck, until he meets the gorgeous bartender.
Adam Lambert gave up on his dream of becoming a rock star. He serves drinks to the tourists on the beach during the day, and seduces them into his bed at night. He thinks it’s enough, until he meets cute and sexy Kris Allen.
Will Kris be able to convince Adam that he should take a chance on Kris, and give his dream another shot?
49. Adam was not a man to toy with. Kris Allen unleashed a storm when he set out to teach Adam Lambert a lesson. A storm with more fury than he'd ever expected. But Kris was tired of hearing about all the men his boss had affairs with, and so Kris announced to the newspapers that Mr. Lambert would finally be settling down and getting married. And the man? 50. Kris Allen’s first love was music, but when he was drafted by [baseball franchise of your choice] right out of high school, he figured it was too good an opportunity to pass up, so he packed his guitar, along with his favorite glove and bat, and headed to [wherever their triple A team plays].
Kris is doing pretty well. Even though he’s a bit homesick, he gets along with most of the guys on the team, and he’s even heard rumors that he might be sent up to the majors if they need a back up [catcher], just to give him some experience at that level. He misses playing with his dad, and his friends, but he’s got his guitar and his roommate doesn’t care if he plays it in their room, so Kris figures he’s doing alright.
Until he walks into a club he’d never been in before and meets Adam Lambert. Adam has a voice like an angel (or the devil, Kris thinks, because it makes him want to do very naughty things to the other man), and he’s gorgeous to boot. Just when Kris believes he’s chosen the path his life is going to take, Adam comes along and makes him rethink that.
51. Farmhands!Kradam. Adam moves to the western/southwestern state of your choice and ends up working as a farmhand, where he meets Kris, another farmhand who comes from a long line of ranchers. He even wears those cotton plaid western shirts with the pearl snaps. He's a perfect singing cowboy, and Adam takes one look and falls in lust. The two of them have a secret romance that involves pretending to not be looking at each other while working together all day, then sharing a ride home together at night - to separate houses, but sometimes it's just so much easier to sleep over!
[Mostly I want Adam in faded Wranglers and a black cowboy hat, Kris with his thin cotton shirt clinging to his sweaty skin, and hot sex in the barn, haystack optional. Warm nights on Kris's front porch (with a swing, of course), looking at the stars while Kris plays his guitar would be lovely.]
52. Kris is looking for a job, and finds one as a keyboardist on a tour with a group of three singers/drag queens. He finds himself helping out the 'girls' (who are a foot taller than him, and more muscled, and stronger to boot!) by carrying their bags, finding their costumes, getting the gas, etc. The 'girls' love their little southern sidekick . . . although, they aren't too sure if Kris knows they're not female (he keeps opening doors!).

53. Kris Allen’s band won a contest to open for famous singer Adam Lambert when his tour stopped in Little Rock. Problem was, Kris didn’t remember entering the contest, nor did he want to see Adam again.

Now that Adam’s had a taste of what he wanted all along, he’s determined to keep Kris in his bed.

Even though he’s a bit homesick, he gets along with most of the guys on the team, and he’s even heard rumors that he might be sent up to the majors if they need a back up [catcher], just to give him some experience at that level. He misses playing with his dad, and his friends, but he’s got his guitar and his roommate doesn’t care if he plays it in their room, so Kris figures he’s doing alright.
Until he walks into a club he’d never been in before and meets Adam Lambert. Adam has a voice like an angel (or the devil, Kris thinks, because it makes him want to do very naughty things to the other man), and he’s gorgeous to boot. Just when Kris believes he’s chosen the path his life is going to take, Adam comes along and makes him rethink that.
51. Farmhands!Kradam. Adam moves to the western/southwestern state of your choice and ends up working as a farmhand, where he meets Kris, another farmhand who comes from a long line of ranchers. He even wears those cotton plaid western shirts with the pearl snaps. He's a perfect singing cowboy, and Adam takes one look and falls in lust. The two of them have a secret romance that involves pretending to not be looking at each other while working together all day, then sharing a ride home together at night - to separate houses, but sometimes it's just so much easier to sleep over!
[Mostly I want Adam in faded Wranglers and a black cowboy hat, Kris with his thin cotton shirt clinging to his sweaty skin, and hot sex in the barn, haystack optional. Warm nights on Kris's front porch (with a swing, of course), looking at the stars while Kris plays his guitar would be lovely.]
52. Kris is looking for a job, and finds one as a keyboardist on a tour with a group of three singers/drag queens. He finds himself helping out the 'girls' (who are a foot taller than him, and more muscled, and stronger to boot!) by carrying their bags, finding their costumes, getting the gas, etc. The 'girls' love their little southern sidekick . . . although, they aren't too sure if Kris knows they're not female (he keeps opening doors!).

53. Kris Allen’s band won a contest to open for famous singer Adam Lambert when his tour stopped in Little Rock. Problem was, Kris didn’t remember entering the contest, nor did he want to see Adam again.

55. Rock star Adam Lambert needs a break. Lane once mentioned a volunteer group she worked with in the past, and told him how rewarding it was. Adam remembers that conversation when he’s thinking about places to hide out and recharge his batteries, so he has Lane sign him up.
Adam wonders if he’s gotten more than he’d bargained for - Haiti [or place of your choice] is hotter than he’d imagined (his make-up *melts* off his face), and he’d take a shower twice a day if his tent (or the camp it was in) had running water - but then Adam meets the man in charge of the group of volunteers Adam is a part of.
Kris Allen is no stranger to helping others; he’s been on several mission trips since starting college. This time, though, Kris needed to get away so he could think; it’s time to decide whether he wants to keep on playing music in bars and producing his own records that sell about 10 copies, or if he wants to get married and finish college.
Kris thinks that there’s only one path to follow; the same path his father took. He’d given his music a chance, now it was time to be an adult, grow up. But then Adam Lambert shows up in his little group of volunteers, and shows Kris that there’s another path.
