Misfits.
Right so this is going to be a total pimping post as I'm getting very excited seeing the adverts appearing on E4 for the show my dad worked on/I was an extra in.
It's called Misfits and I mentioned it once or twice before but I honestly think it's worthy of me going on about because from what I have seen and from the hype around it, it's gonna be really good.
THE PREMISE.
Whenever I tell people about this bit they go a bit "oh well that sounds shit.." when tbh, yeah - ASBO teenagers caught in an electric storm inherit superpowers does sound a bit ridiculous, also everyone saying its Skins meets Heroes but having read 2 of the scripts and seen a cut of the first episode, I have to say it did exceed what I originally expected.
REASONS TO WATCH.
1) It's funny, honestly, the script is brilliant and entertaining but also relatable.
2) The cast is brilliant.
3) It's by the makers of Skins, so that's something right?! I know most people on my flist are Skins fans (like meeeeeeee!!) so I honestly think you will appreciate it and enjoy it :D
It's only 6 episodes and starts someeetime next month, not sure when
