He is absolutely amazing. He gave that performance his all.
He had some silly monologues, like something about the wig shop on fourth, a guy catching a cat fish during the great flood, in the hotel(it was big apparently), a slightley nasty story about some pizzle dog snacks(don't ask), a random memory of an enthusiastic boss at an old job at a jewwlry store("These are going to a wedding."), and plenty of 'god damns' and even a 'jesus christ.' He is god. He did his dances, and his poses and movements, like a hokey magician trying to sell tonic water. He was Tom Waits, everything he ever was, and has been. He was there in full form, and I fell honored and very lucky to be able to see him live. He preformed so well, he forgot some lines, but then audience helped him out and he was fine. He did God's Away, the first song I ever heard by him, that got me into him by the way. He also did going out west! And then there was an encore. It was memorable, and beautiful. I hope to see him again next time he tours!
