Moved to Cooper Young Neighborhood in Memphis. So excited
The long term sub job for Ashely and her drama class fell through, total bummer. Plus I feel really bad for her because thats insulting to her by saying her class isn't important enough to have lesson plans while she's on maternity leave.
There are two coffee shops, a pub, a deli, a mexican resteruant, a sushi joint, a bakery, a grocery store, a drug store, a vintage clothing store, and a chic shop all in my new neighborhood. I can walk everywhere and never have to use my car. Its awesome. The people are all so cool and its full of historic homes. My house was built in 1925 and my neighbors couldn't be more friendly. One of my downstairs neighbors used to be an actor, he even attended the acadamey! He's now a producer here in Memphis. We've had wonderful conversations about classic movies and actors. I'm pretty happy here.
Haven't been called in to sub much here in Memphis which has me concerned so I've been looking into getting a third second job, and only working with the schools a few days of the week.
Chad and I are doing well, and we have fun lately.
I bought a new type of makeup. For the last two years I've been wearing mineral makeup and have had mixed results. I've tried all sorts of different versions and most of them break me out, even bare minerals. The only one that didn't was glo minerals but the shop I used to buy them from in Conway stopped selling it (I don't know why it was great) so I couldn't buy it anymore. Plus it was on the pricey side so right now I couldn't afford it anyway. I can't really afford bare minerals either. It broke me out anyway, besides it made me look shiny and the shades never truly matched my skin tone so you could tell I was wearing makeup.
