Harleen stands on the steps of Arkham wearing a red party dress and shuffling around to ignore the evening chill. Her contacts make her eyes itch a little, but she's starting to get used to them.
Harleen jumps a bit as Rosie appears. "Whoa! Wow...I've never seen you do that...sorry." She composes herself a bit and works to hail a cab. "I haven't been waiting long at all..and I love that dress!" She raises her voice to the street. "Oh c'mon you guys, stop! Two pretty girls! You hoo!"
"Ha ha! That is fantastic!" She takes Rosie by the arm and pulls her along as she hops into the waiting cab. She taps on the separator between the front and back seat. "Dazzles on 6th please, mister, and fast! We have a party emergency!" Harleen grins at Rosie and giggles. "You'll like this place, it's fun. I haven't been there in ages, though!"
The cab drops them off in front of a busy nightclub covered in neon. Harleen paid the driver and tipped him well. When they stepped out of the cab she noticed the long, winding line outside the club's front doors. "Oh crap on a crap stick." She stomps the pavement then grins a little and looks at Rosie. "Hey, I have an idea...how are you at acting?"
Harleen throws one arm over Rosie and waves the other frantically over her head as she runs toward the club doors, shoving through the crowd. "Hey! Outta the way! My sister is really sick! She's gonna blow chunks on you if you don't move! Move it, people! Technicolor yawn coming through! This are is a designated splash zone! Move it!" They finally make it to the bouncer at the door and Harleen gives him a concerned look and passes him ten dollars for entry. "Gimme the bracelets fast, Jack! We need to get inside now, or you're gonna have a hell of a mess on your shiny building." The man reluctantly hands her some paper bracelets and she quickly rushes Rosie though the door.
Once inside, she cracks up laughing. "Hoo! That was great. Man, I need to get out more."
she shrugs. "Sometimes you get lucky. It's like how magic and sideshows work...people want to be fooled. They like it." Harleen smiled brightly and put a hand on Rosie's shoulder. "Let's get you a drink and start the Birthday cheer! I'm in this game for as long as it takes..hell..Jonathan even gave me the week off so you're not getting rid of me til you're all happied up!"
"Yup. I'm a free woman! One with nothing to do...but I'm sure I'll figure something out!" She slides over to the bar and nudges her way between two other waiting patrons. She looks over her shoulder at Rosie. "Ever had a purple hooter? They're great. It tastes just like grape koolaid!"
