Dr. Quinzel got home late, but felt much better than she had the night before. A hard days work and the thrill of new experiences had all but erased the weirdness of the previous day. She even felt fairly energetic despite her lack of sleep.
She changed into a pair of silk pajama pants and a matching camisole. They were black with flames and several pictures of Betty Boop dressed in a devil costume. Across the front of the camisole were the words "Bad Girl". The pajamas were comfortable and it helped her relax.
She went to the kitchen and made herself a peanut-butter and jelly sandwich and cut it into fourths, the same way she had eaten them since she was a child. Then she sat at her computer to work on the paper she'd been writing. Even if the subject of her study had gone missing, he was getting enough press as the Joker to allow her to continue her writing. Besides, she had a lot of new ideas about the nature of madness she wanted to add. This would make a name for her..it had to be finished. When she hit writer's block or the writing simply became tedious she distracted herself with "Happy Tree Friends" cartoons to lighten her mood.
