This weeks activities...

This Sunday, Sept. 19th, Harlan's Emporium will be visiting the Hiawatha Farmer's Market once again.  It is a marvelous little market, with vendors, ranging from produce and baked goods to cut flowers and jewelry, art and occasional live music to honey and woodwork.  If it is not too chilly or rainy, do stop by the Hiawatha park.  Hours are from 11-3, although you may come early to sneak a peak at the vendors you would like to visit.

This Sunday I will be delivering a custom jewelry set, ordered last week: earrings, pendant necklace, and large ear cuff.

I am very pleased with the result of our labor and I'm sure she will be too.  The earrings are designed so that they can be worn down, like regular earrings, or turned horizontally so that the design flows up the earlobe mimicking the look of multiple piercings without the pain.  The ear cuff will look much like this when worn:

The curvature of the cuff can be manipulated, so that the customer can adjust the cuff depending on their preferred placement.

Hopefully it will be good weather so she can see her new jewelry set sparkle in the sunlight.
