[The voice feature clicks on and a woman with a British accent begins speaking to herself more than anything.]I’m… not in England anymore, am I? At least… I hope not. Millennium couldn’t really have done this much damage, could they…? It can’t be. I don’t recognize anything at all. I would if I were still at home, right ( Read more... )

[That voice. It was familiar, yet she couldn't quite place it.]

Um, e-excuse me? Do I... do I know you, Sir?

Oh.

No.

No, no, no, not at all.

I must have hit the wrong frequency here, this isn't 24062156, this is 24062155, my mistake!

Mi scusi.~

[She may not be the brightest bulb, but she wasn't that dumb. Now that the person on the other line spoke in English she was sure there wasn't a mistake]

Wait! I do know you, don't I?

[FFFFFFFF--Blast this conFOUNDED THING! Where's the disconnect button!?]

Aha nooo, nononono, that's impossible, why I don't even know your name!

Oh this techno-jargon, I'll have my head wrapped around you yet!

[She can't be fooled now!]

No, I really do know you! You're...

[She thinks for a second. She knew his name! She knew it. And hadn't Pip said there was more than just those of Hellsing?]

Mr. Maxwell! I remember! I saw you with Sir Integra at the museum that one time!

[Why must the fates work against me? Lord, was I not faithful to your every whim?]

Th.. that's Archbishop Enrico Maxwell now. Aha.. I. Don't believe we were properly introduced, signorina?

Oh! I'm sorry, Archbishop Maxwell. I don't think we have. I'm Seras Victoria. [No use telling him her title, surely he already knows it.]

[She has a title? Is it tenderfoot? Oh bother, he can't be troubled by the thought!]

Seras Victoria.

[My, my, well at least she was polite. How did Hellsing get a recruit so... so civil?]

Now I do remember. [BEGRUDGINGLY!] What aha.. excellent diversion tactics on your part. Why I'd have never had my date settled with your director had you not broken up my subordinate's little... skirmish.

[Sort of! Okay, not really... but sort of!]

[She laughs nervously] Um, th-thank you. It wasn't entirely my idea, though. Walter helped! Master and Anderson had to be stopped somehow or there wouldn't have been a museum left at all.

[She sort of missed the security uniform, too. There was a bit more to it than her uniform (if that's what you could call it) for Hellsing]

Oh... yes. And another bill I'd be paying till I'm old and gray.

[It was like his Iscariots' thought he was made of money! Blow up this. Destroy that. Level the basilica! He was practically thankful for Midian, at least he knew if he unleashed them there they would do the only thing they're good at. COMPLETELY ANNIHILATING EVERYTHING.]

Such a stalwart abomination woman to endure all that, none-the-less.
