Title: Falling Slowly
Pairing: Jaesu
Rating: G
Word Count: 190
A/N: Wrote this on my phone. Written based on my own observations. That sounds abit weird but, yeah. I'm still traumatised by what happened today. Strongly recommend listening to Kris Allen's rendition of 'Falling Slowly' while reading this. (:

Falling Slowly - Kris Allen

The breeze is cold. The sunlight is piercing. The heat is blaring. He stands, a distance away from a tree; green leaves, brown branches, strong thick trunk. He looks up, enjoying the slice of the breeze on his skin. He squints, enjoying the formation of sweat on his forehead. A lone leaf falls; brown, dried, dead. It falls, silently, alone. Wanting more than ever for a reunion and defy gravity. But it lies on the grass, still. He knows, it spoils the picture; it will never fit in, still.

“What are you looking at, Su?”

Arms circle the waist. Chin on the shoulder.

“Nothing hyung-”

He gently pries the arms away, letting the warmth burn him for awhile more before releasing it. He looks into his eyes, and smiles.

“-nothing.”

And he walks away.

The older man can only stare at his retreating form, and turn to the object that caught Junsu’s attention.

A leaf falls; green, shiny, fresh. It lands beside the brown leaf. But it doesn’t know. It’d never notice the other’s presence.

The breeze is cold. The sunlight is piercing. The heat is blaring.

A leaf falls.
