This was fabulous Isa!! I thought it might be a little iffy given the premise but I should have known never to doubt you! SUCH a perfect way to write these characters, having Daniel see himself in Valerie and Vala in Danel. And Daniel and Danel's small chat is SOOO beautifully telling and a great wake-up call for him :D Fantastic!
