A little intro: A lot of the song choice for this mix at time have less to do with the lyrics but more with the fact that the songs sound like I think the relationship between Sif and Loki feels like. There's lyrical take to them that's a little hard and a little sad and a lot sultry which is not the word i want to use because what I'm thinking off is quietly sexy? Seductive, maybe? Sensual. They just have this feel of being so sharp and jagged but then there's a quiet edge that curves just so where they bend just so and that's where they fit together. That sliver of highlight just at the edge of shadow. The centre point to this fic is The Kills song "U.R.A. Fever" because when I heard it soon after seeing the film and shipping sif/loki all i could think was i want to make this their song and i want to make a fanmix for them with this song because when the song says you are fever, i am fever, we are fever it's like this inner monologue of their feelings I hear, and it looks like i did? tbh this mix has been sitting in my media library for months and months but I held off because I wanted to add it to my het_bigbang but as writing it went in the end the fix doesn't fit the whole fic as much as fits for the couple, save the one song that I pretty much used as Sif's internal anthem. Also pandoera asked for sif/loki for the tumblr meme so here I am giving a whole mix.
