All The Laughter From Before by waldorph. (Found via camelot_recs.) Wonderful, wonderful fic. Uther finds out about Merlin and it's not pretty. At all. But. It's pretty prefect. All the characterisations are spot on. Arthur's growth and change is sad but lovely, Morgana is, as usual, awesome, Gwen is as lovely as ever. I particularly loved Uther's slow realisation of what Arthur growing up and becoming King means. It's Merlin/Arthur but even if you don't ship the boys, this fic is worth it. The ship isn't overwhelming anyway, for obvious reasons as you read.

Not really a spoiler, but why doesn't anyone listen to the Dragon? Poor Slash Dragon in the Cave *cough*Closet*cough* of Subtext. *pets the cheeky bastard*

Oh, and GIP, because the fic isn't cracky at all.
