some uber late Heroes thoughts

Okay, first off: Papa Petrelli. YOU ARE ON MY LIST. You did *not* just take Adam's awesomeness away from the show. You just didn't. *eyes* And then you did that. Seriously, no fucking wonder this family has more issues than the New York Times.

I really think that Mama P was trying to divorce Papa P for YEARS when she finally managed to *do something* and "take him out" of the game. So thinking back to her "acting out" in s1, now I think that was all some fricking rejoicing at the Petrelli version of a divorce. Death, or "death" in this case as Papa P is clearly not dead.

That said, I think it's very obvious that Papa P's powahs are VERY similar to Peter's. Could they even be the more advance form of Peter's sponging (LEVEL UP, BITCHES)? I think soooo. If they are, I have to give kudos to the writer's for continuity here, because way back in s1 we had Mama P comparison of Peter to his dad and "how much he is like his Dad was at his age".

Does this mean that Peter one day in the not so distant future could end up growing up to be an Evil Mastermind? Um, probably not... this *is* Peter, but then again you never know....

Speaking of the future, this is something that struck me last week: Do we only have a five year limit on future viewing? TSK TSK. I want to see them push past the 5 years they've done so far. I want somebody from like 10-20 years in the future to come back, preferably Simon or Monty because *G*, and just tell all our current Heroes: "Dudes, you guys just messed this shit up." Or something! *vague hand wave* Just something, you know, to break the 5 year barrier.

As for the "newest" Petrelli, and I use newest oh so very liberally, Slyar? Dude, ever since you parentage came out of the wood work all this healing-reinvented-peace and puppies schtick? *SIGH* I like a redemption story as much as the next fangirl but you were SO MUCH BETTER when your genes hadn't been influenced by the Petrelli gene of self-righteous and drama-drama-drama (future waffles making and cooking none-withstanding). And I kinda don't like that your Power came hand in hand with the Hunger. Meh. I liked you EVOL. You still bring the win, but really? Don't go down that route. Please.

Not that I'm hating on the Petrellis. GOD, NO. I love that wack ass family, but still. We have enough of them already.

To the Bennetts. And Claire, who, yes, is technically a Petrelli as it becomes so painfully obvious at times, but yeah. Anyway. Sandra? Meredith? How awesome were they? I'm totally on Team Moms. That whole scene with the gun and the table and omg, Sandra how amazing where you! *flails* The awesome overwhelmed! The Puppet Man (Eric?) Was creepy as hell though, and the levels of obsessive psycho with Meredith were done well. I liked how there wasn't the obvious (and sometimes overly melodramatic) reveal that OMG! It's her Two Moms. Smart. *approves* Tbh, I wasn't expecting to like that plot line in the episode, but I was proven wrong. Mostly it was that scene, which was great.

Now Mohinder? Again, TSK TSK. Seriously? I'm not a fan of this whole story line. Tracy freeing herself and Nathan? Yayz! But then... I'm just not too sure about what they're trying to accomplish with this Mohinder story line.

Shameless shipper comment ahead! Nathan and Tracy? *DANCES* I wuv them. That shot of them together had me over the moon. I'm easy. Sue me.

I love African Mystery Sock. (DAMN, I CAN'T REMEMBER HIS NAME!) I love his snark. I love how he's guiding Matt and Hiro. He was very Obi-Wan with his "when you stopped relying on your powers" speech and I loved that. They do rely on their powers too much at times, which does make total sense, but we've seen the dark side of it. *cough*Slyar*cough*. Hiro and Ando are still totally adorable, and I loved Hiro's time travel trick. *mini flails* To quote Kay: Ando, please be wearing more of those shirt. *G*

And Matt and Daphne? JUST ADORABLE. That's all I got. *HIGH FIVE* TURTLE. WIN.
