(no subject)
My weekend has come to an end! Friday Acyutanada and his fiancee flew in from Radhadesh, they were supposed to arrive at 2pm but didnt get here till 11pm (thanks to Ryanair) so by the time we got back to my apartment it was sleepy time.
Saturday we went out all day in London and walked for miles along the South Bank, up towards Parliment and then the West End, a quick Aarti in the temple and then home for Pizza. Was a very long day but we had a great time walking and talking, they are such sweet nice people.
Sunday we drove to Bhaktivedanta Manor, the weather wasnt so great so we stayed inside the Manor most of the day. It was not very busy which is great to relax. We stayed for aarti and did Kirtan, again i spent time in Srila Prabhupada's room... the energy is amazing in there, and i swear if you look at him long enough it's like his eye's are moving side to side reading his important documents. We stayed for Sunday Feast and then came home in the evening.
Yesterday i had some work to do, so i left Acyutanada and Mataji at Soho Street temple armed with a map and mobile phone and they took on london at thier own pace... which is what i think they wanted as it was thier anniversary and it's difficult for them to spend time with one another in Radhadesh. In the evening i treated them to my Veggie Shepards Pie!! I got the recipe from Vasu ! ;)
This morning i woke up at 3:30am to take them to the airport!! i got home at 6am and went back to sleep after doing some Japa and didnt wake up until 10:30!!!
On other news, Nita had her first "are you pregnant?" comment yesterday from a work friend! this made her happy (me too). She has a small baby bump now, i spent most of this morning when i woke speaking to her bump and being silly. Apparantly the baby can hear us now, so i will start singing and chanting to he/she now.
My mum fly's back to London tomorrow from india after 2 months away, she and my father still dont know about the baby!! i couldnt tell her before she left as she went for a funeral and i wanted to tell them face to face with a camera in my hand ready to see their expressions :) I cant wait to tell them.
Ok we all apart from that, not much to report... work is slow, come januray i'm going to kick ass (touch wood).
