A bit of time
wah! I have not updated in almost a month so here is my new post. Anyway about my last(BROKE) post, in the end I was not so broke. My policy of No-Spendy-of-Money for like a month kinda paid off. Basically I was so worried because I was going to Yaoi con and I would not have any money. I did not plan to spend any anyway but ya know. you still want funds for unexpected expenses. But my policy paid off and I ended up spending close to 250 dollars at the con and then I had enough left to pay my mom back to 250 I owed her(yeah It went up to 250) and pay off part of my credit card and still have cash left over. my next big purchases will be for fixing up my computer(new hard drive and battery). Though it will be a little while before I do that. I find I like my new policy and I also like looking at my back account and seeing triple digits in my savings so I am not at the amount I want to be yet so I will save up till I am back up there and then I will save up additionally for those items.
Anyway Yaoi Con was kinda boring. I am sure it would have been better if we had stayed in the hotel it was in but they were booked up by may. the con people did not even set up a spillover hotel with shuttle service to I and my friends had to walk a mile each way to go back and forth. There was also not an explicit yaoi screening! what kind of con does not have some sort of 'fest' Every other con I have been to has a hentai or yaoi (or both) fest where they screen explicit anime. I was extremely disappointed by that. more on this later. I gots to go to work.
