I'm so excited to read the next chapter to this story! And what a great one at that. The atmosphere you establish from the start really puts the reader in Mohinder's shoes of not knowing what the hell is going on but trying to decipher it anyway. I like how you work this out step by step, from Mohinder trying to figure out why they're outside this building to him realizing that Sylar is "listening" to guessing that Sylar is there to kill someone. Mohinder's not necessarily correct on all counts, but I love the idea of his mind working so fast to make sense of what's going on around him. He's not some passive character.

His confusion is our confusion which makes for a very tense read (which I love) because we don't quite know what Sylar's motivations are. And clues only make the vaguest of sense because like Mohinder we don't have the bigger picture in mind.

Sylar's frustration, his anger at the woman not being home is nicely rendered here as is Mohinder's willingness to both comply (his big picture is doing whatever he can to keep Moly safe) but still assert himself (telling Sylar not to touch him).

I really dig the end of this. Seeing Harris, Mohinder has a momentary illusion of hope...there's that part of him that still wants to believe the best in others...only to have that shattered painfully. And this: And the geneticist looked up one last time - caught a glimpse of Harris' face. He felt a flash of recognition, a feeling of 'I know him, I know who he is' for a brief second. in conjunction with whom the woman is Sylar is looking for has me on the edge of my seat!

Thank you! I'm really glad you liked the end - I was attempting leave the reader hanging (a cliffhanger) when it came to the action taking place and the Harris mystery (it's right on the edge of being revealed), so to hear you were on the edge of your seat makes me really happy. Thanks so much for your kind comment/words! :D
