Snowed In
Only 6 inches of snow fell in Columbus and a half of an inch glazed everything in the Valentine's Day blizzard. This morning Elmer's declared a 2 hour delay, but as far as I know, no one was able to make it in considering how much of a disaster the roads were this morning. It is 8PM the day after and the apartment complex still has not plowed or removed any of the snowfall and ice from the parking lots. When I did attempt to go to work this morning, I pulled out and immediately I was stuck in the snow. I have never lived in a city that completely has no clue on how to remove the snow from the roads, but even worse, I have never lived in an apartment complex that takes days to remove the snow from their lots.
If I miss work tomorrow and class, I should make my apartment complex pay for the time I have loss when they should have had someone here removing all of the snow immediately the morning after. Every other person that I have spoken to that lives in a complex has had their snow removed, why is there still 7 inches of snow and ice not cleared?
