This weekend has to have been the greatest time I've had in a very long time.
It all started with my advising appointment on Friday. It was time to sign up for classes for next semester. I woke up a few minutes beforehand, grabbed my stuff, and ran to the counseling building. I got there right on time and proceeded to incoherently babble off all of the requisite information. I somehow ended up with the greatest schedule ever. Yet again, I have no classes on Friday. My only class on Wednesday is the much anticipated Filmmaking I. I'm also taking a class dedicatied to the filmmakers Wes Craven (of "Nightmare on Elm St." Fame) and David Cronenburg ("The King of Venereal Horror" as he is often known).
That night was Halloween, of course. I dressed up as creepy kid with a camera. I then proceeded to videotape the drunk antics of my friends. THe resulting movie was one of the funniest things that I've ever shot, but I promised them all i wouldn't post it on the internet. You'll all just have to wait.
This mourning (or afternoon, rather) i woke up to find that I had won a Crate Blue Voodoo amp head on ebay!
To cap it all off, I just got back from a screening of the Buster Keaton movie "The General". It was shown with live accompaniment from one of the nation's premier junk band: The Alloy Orchestra. It was so ridiculously fun. Every time Buster did something clever, the audience would applaud. There was just so much energy.
