I'm gonna go ahead and beat him to it. Adam, I'm not gone; just playing that same silly game that has you preoccupied as well. SO, May is here. Next Friday will conclude one full school year in Chem. Engineering grad school at AU and I can't say that I'm one ioda (sp?) closer to writing a thesis now than I was in Aug 2004. YES! One wasted year down the tubes, but hey, at least they're paying me and not the other way around.
It always bugs me that I'm not really sure who reads this stuff outside of the other Livejournalers I know. I mean, it's linked to from my webpage, and it's got links to it from everywhere else... SO maybe (just maybe) some of my other friends randomly take a peak and don't tell me about it. Nah, but maybe. So with this in mind, I won't get into some of the things (or people) that have given me a reason to be happy lately, and I'll focus on the fact that I have an exam on Monday morning at 11 that I'm not studying for as I type this entry :) And I won't dwell on how much fun I had with my undergrad buddies, and how much I took it for granted until now. Dang I remember some good times, and I'm sure there were more than a couple I just can't remember. Must have passed out from the excitement ;)
It ALSO bugs me that I got a digital camera to take around with me and get more pictures of me doing things with friends... HOWEVER, someone neglected to stop and let me know that ME having a camera wouldn't help me get in the pics! Now I just have more and more pics of my friends. BLAH. WHAT ABOUT ME! So, from now on, I'm reminding everyone I know that it isn't YOU that needs a new camera, it's YOUR friends.
OK, enough ranting for one night. Glad I beat Adam to the first post in May, maybe he'll get off my back. (OK, i know i know, he won't)
