Thank you. It's scary inside Toby's head, but the occasional visit can be interesting. :)

Excellent line - it made me really *feel* what Toby is feeling, what a presence Chris is.

I want to feel something that doesn’t hurt, that isn’t ugly and angry.

And this made me a little sad, considering how much of their relationship is just that.

Thanks, Lisa, glad you enjoyed this one too. They did have more pain than joy, but I like to think maybe the intensity of the good times, few as they were, still made it all worthwhile. And yes, I think that pod may have felt very empty without Chris, that Toby would be very aware when he's there once more.
