The Tags Situation -- UPDATED

Blah, LJ.

As a workaround, you can view tags up through flashfiction 99 and drabble 199 HERE, on DW.

I think that if Ozsaur imports from LJ again, all of the tags would show up [on DW], and at least that way we'd have a list, somewhere, that could be added as a sticky post for the comm.

--For now(?). Hoping this can get straightened out on Support's end. The tags are still *there*, we just can't see them! :|

ETA: As the comm owner, ozsaur wrote to Support. Their response was basically "too bad, so sad."

Bolding mine.

"[...]Hashtags were not lost: they still appear in your community entries and you can still find all of the entries tagged with them. If you wish to change them to regular tags, unfortunately, the only option to do it is to remove hashtags and add tags for each entry. To get a list of entries with certain hashtag you need to click on that hashtag in one of the entries, or you can use the search form, e.g. https://www.livejournal.com/rsearch?tags=%2335%20lockdown&journal=hardtime100&searchArea=anywhere (you need the exact name of the hashtag in question). You can search specifically in your community by specifying its username in advanced search settings.

Alternatively, you can create a sticky entry or a custom text block in sidebar with pre-made links to hashtag search result if you wish, to have an easier navigation without editing tags for all entries."

I mean. UGH. Ozsaur's already completely overhauled and redone the tags in the past, and at this point, won't be putting the time, work, and energy into doing it again. She will be re-importing to DW, though, so we'll have a more complete 'list' of tags to work with; I'll probably just screenshot it and make a permanent sticky with all of the tags, then it'll be up to the user to manually input the tag into the URL.

I was really hoping for better news, but, well, it's LJ. I shouldn't have maintained *any* expectations.
