HT100 Challenge #1 - Good Boy: Stay
AU for the fourth season. Post the kidnapping, Chris is there for Toby.

”Good boy,” said Keller.
Toby ate the apple, and Chris watched as he swallowed every piece. He didn’t throw away food anymore.
His son was still dead, and his daughter still in shock, but at least Toby was doing better.
“I trust you,” said Toby. “With all the fucked up shit you pulled, at least I know you’d never hurt my kids.”
Chris nodded and softly stroked Toby’s cheek.
“There’s nothing we can’t face if we are together,” he said. “I’m glad you didn’t believe Zabitz when he said I was responsible for the kidnapping.”
“Did you kill him?” asked Toby.
“No. He had a heart attack,” said Chris. If he hadn’t, Chris would have killed him but Toby didn’t need to know that.
“I love you,” said Toby and kissed Chris.
They had each other and that was everything.
