HT100 Challenge #84: Don't Fear the Reaper -- The Hit
Don't ask me where the hell this came from becuase I haven't a clue. Totally different to what I was planning. I guess it's an AU drabble.
~~The Hit~~
'He's mine. Nobody else gets to touch him - ever. I gave him fucking everything I have to give; my heart, my soul, my pride, my love. How could I accept to get anything less in return? He has me and I have him - he's mine. My Toby.'
This was the thought screaming through Keller's head, over and over again. Same as when he'd killed Shemin; killed Browne. Killed Ronnie even, because that time wasn't just about Ronnie selling him out.
He stared at the phone. 'Make the call. Get Toby put back in Oz, back where he belongs. With me, not some fucking school teacher.'
Toby would hate him. Never forgive him. He couldn't do it. But he had to do something.
Every other time he'd felt like this… he'd killed. And Toby had forgiven that. Maybe there was another way to fix this.
He dialled a different number to the one he'd been planning.
"Yeah, it's Keller. I need you to do a job for me……She's a school teacher - shouldn't give you any trouble. I need it done fast - money's no object."
