“Hot. Hot. Hot. It’s going to be another scorcher, Chuck. So remember boys and girls if you’re going outside today, wear lots of sunscreen.”
Shit. What month was it? June maybe?
Once you’ve been inside a while, the days run together. The thing is, a calendar’s got no real meaning. Recycled air and fluorescent lights don’t change with the the seasons. It might be summer outside, but the forecast in Oz never changed.
Cold. Bleak. And deadly.
