HT100 Challenge #73: Picture This -- Weakness
Er...this is a bit late, obviously... (sorry!) It's a sequel to “Snapshot,” the drabble maverick4oz wrote for challenge #73, and it probably won’t make too much sense if you haven’t read it. (I got Mav's OK before posting. *g*)
He never could stand seeing Toby look like that. Even back when all Chris wanted was to cause him pain, the way Toby let everyone see what hurt him made Chris sick.
But that’s Toby- always leaving himself wide open, like he’s determined to make everything as simple as possible for any jizzbag who’s out to get him. It probably comes from being raised to think the world gives a shit what happens to you.
But Chris knows different.
Before anyone has a chance to see what hurts him, he holds the polaroid over the sink and lights a match.
