HT100 Challenge #70: *smooch*
Sorry for the tardy. I haven't written one of these in awhile, but when I was going back through, catching up, this idea popped right into my head. Could it be because I'm in the middle of watching season three?

"Shhh, that's right, go on to sleep now. Things will be even better in the morning."
He kept up a gentle rocking motion until he felt Andrew's breathing even out, his tired, sick body relaxing, going limp against his own.
This was the third night Andrew had fallen asleep in his arms. He was almost well enough that they could move on to the next phase, getting him on friendly terms with Keller and O'Reily.
He pressed his lips against the boy's tangled, dirty hair. "Good night, Andrew."
Looking out into the dark of Oz, he smiled. "Sweet dreams, Vern."
