i've decided to get an escher tattoo, because he's my favorite artist by a long shot, except for evan, and it involves all my favorite math stuff. on my right rib cage. one of the tilings - i expecially like the one with the devil and the angel
but the one where checkers turn into birds

gives me another good idea. at the exhibit i saw the schematic and preperatory drawings for these things, so i understand the math that goes behind it and could draw a rough draft. and i really want evan to do the final draft that i give to the artist to do. i'm thinking just black and fleshtone...
oh and j - i thought about you and your want for a celtic knot tattoo and saw this at the escher exhibit
