Our generations vocabulary:
Depression-Sad-Crying-Lonely-Pimp-Love-Pain-Hurt-Lust-Death-God-Alone-Suicidal-Slut-Sex,-Bitter-Drugs-Empty-Fake-Hore-Bitch-Depression-Depression-Depression-
Various song lyrics, Movie scripts, Movie scenes, book titles, book content, the news, the paper, the magazines, commercials---All of the above force fed-- We deny it, but you know we love it, otherwise we wouldn’t mimic it so
Example:
She lives her life--the way a CHARACTER lives in pages. She took every detail
(from music, to the way they teased the boys) And made it her own. I read lines in the STORY that I remember reading in her writing. So much for being and incredible writer-plagiarism doesn't make you unique--it makes you incompetent of being your own person
Silly me for thinking she was someone REAL.--
She plays the part of an unappreciated house wife on a movie screen, who thinks shes been threw hell and back, mistreated and abused by her countless failed relationships--where they used her because her package is the type that comes undone already. easy--isn't she. and only 15. Sad, she thinks they care and will spend the rest of their lives with her- tisk tisk- they’re spitting on your face
Then the boy who burned his paychecks in his pipe. Took his straight A grades and tucked them behind his bag of weed. O yea baby-hes livin the life, or just trying to recreate a certain cannabis hoarding musician that “ Shot the sheriff-but did not shoot the deputy”
At one time or another-we’ve all adopted a characteristic from media and it’s flaunty flesh-
So heres a question-are we the victims, or are we the instigators?
And who is real anyway?
"And everything seems to have gone terribly wrong that can, but one breath at a time is an acceptable plan, she tells herself, the air is still there and this morning it's even breathable and shes a heavy sack of flour sifted--her burden lifted--shes'd full of clean wind for one lean moment and then she's trapped again, reverted contorted with no way to get free, and shes got plenty of kisses--but nobody is slippin' her the key"
