Name: Jade Harley
Series: Homestuck
Canon-Point: After stoking the Forge in her Medium, but before Jack's arrival.
History: Biography. (Spoilers!)
Personality: Jade Harley is a quirky young girl, as enthusiastic as it gets and just as easily excitable. She usually comes across as quite the ditz between her happy-go-lucky optimism, her childishness, her strictly pacifistic nature (a perplexing contradiction to the rifle she carries around at all times and her skills as a markswoman) and her extreme forgetfulness (something remedied in part by a series of colorful reminders; strings tied to her fingers). But there's far more to it than that.
Jade has proven herself to be brave and resourceful. She has put herself straight into danger many times for her friends, whom she cares very deeply about. The best example would be putting herself in front of a falling meteor to save her friend's dream self, and resulting in the death of her own. She's also taken advantage of the ability she once had to watch the future from Prospit's clouds via her dream self and time shenanigans to save her friends' lives.
Jade is an expert on the Eclectic Bass. She's fond of old cartoons, the furry fandom (the characters and merchandise and not much else; she finds them beautiful but the idea of dressing like one "never occurred to [her]"), nuclear physics, high-tech gadgetry and, above all, horticulture. She's an expert gardener and has lived her life surrounded by her own plants. She suffers from narcolepsy and will occasionally fall asleep in the middle of important activities, but overtime it's gotten much better.
Powers: She has no 'powers', persay, but she's a skilled markswoman (her Grandpa taught her to never leave home without her rifle). This being said, she is very strictly a pacifist and will only use it if she's put in a situation where she has to!

GG: so this is unova then?
GG: wow actually this is all really cool! :O
GG: i mean it is very different from home but....
GG: i think i like it!!!
GG: i got this one pokemon and it is called a growlithe!
GG: he reminds me of bec so that is what i named him!! :D
GG: well i am happy to be here then but i hope i get to see my friends too!

Jade grinned, holding the Pokémon she'd been given in her arms. Unova, huh? Pokémon? Well, it all sounded very exciting, even if it was so different! But she was used to change. These things happened, after all. As for her friends...well, things always turned out best in the end somehow, and this time especially, Jade felt as though everything would be okay for them all!
She looked out in front of her and a bucktoothed grin spread across her face. Well, what she'd seen so far certainly looked lovely! All sorts of flora and fauna that she'd never seen before! She wondered if any of the Pokémon looked like frogs-she wanted one of those. And something about grass-types had been mentioned? Maybe those were like plants! She'd want to get some of those, too!
But for now, the Growlithe in her arms was getting restless. It barked at her and she swore she saw minute embers spew into the air from its mouth, too. She bent down and put him on the ground and he began running circles around her feet, panting and barking and smiling like only a dog could.
"You ready, boy?" she encouraged, the same way she used to speak to Bec, and he barked twice more. He was just like Bec, she thought, when he was a puppy.
"Let's go, Becquerrel!" she cried, and with the Pokémon by her side, Jade Harley ran forwards into something new.
