Title: For Shits and Giggles
Pairing: GDYB friendship
A/N: Haha.. Not as cute as other things, but funny in it's own right.. At least.. I think so anyway. So if no one toots my horn by liking it, don't worry, I'm not offended, I'll just keep tooting my own horn. Hahaha.. ANYWAY! If you enjoy, great, if not, ok. ^___^
"What a horrible name for a bookstore," Dong Young Bae mused allowed, staring at the large sign that had been designed for the plaza's newest store. He cocked his head to one side, almost praying he had simply misunderstood what it was the sign displayed, but no matter how he looked at it, or from how many different angles, the large bright letters remained unchanging.
The owner of said horribly named bookstore stepped outside of his new shop with a bright smile and sense of genuine accomplishment. "Ya, Young Bae-ah! Help me get some more stuff in here since you're already here." It hadn't taken him long to notice his long time friend. It had taken him an even shorter amount of time to issue the boy an order.
Young Bae rolled his eyes and stepped away from his crazy friend. As far as he was concerned, he would take no part in the insanity that would sure ensue in such a place, if it's name was any indicator. "First off, I don't work for you Ji Yong," he began evenly, "Secondly," he paused, glancing warily at the sign, "I refuse to work in a place called, 'For Shits and Giggles.'"
Ji Yong offered Young Bae the most adorable pout he could muster. "I opened the bookstore so that we could work together, Young Bae-ah! Don't friends help each other out, huh?" He quickly clasped his hands together and dropped to his knees. "There's only only me right now, Bae. I can't do it alone. Please work here! I'll even pay you more than I pay myself! Please, Bae Bae!"
"You opened a shop and didn't hire anyone?" The shorter of the two slapped his forehead in exasperation. "Aigoo, Kwon Ji Yong. Sometimes I wonder how you even manage to live!"
Ji Yong grinned cheekily and wrapped his arms around Young Bae's waist, pulling the young man in for a makeshift hug. He knew when he had won his audience over, however bregrudingly. "That's why I have you!"
