HEY a not depressing blog haha (MySpace/LJ cross-post)
Hey for once... I'm not crying my eyes out at the computer... anyone who wants to know the backstory to that, check out my past few ljs lol
I am an f'n zombie today... Marc and I worked a show in Jacksonville last night... 4 1/2 hour drive there... was on a Naval base... it was actually a lot of fun!
Those that are close to me know that I've been a little burned-out wrestling-wise... a little um... NOT confident in myself... and all in all miserable. Not anymore haha
The show was a Thunder Wrestling Federation show... this was our first time working for them. Marc and I were supposed to work for them a couple months ago, but things hadn't worked out at the time. Things worked out this time, and part of the deal was, besides being for the troops, this show they were going to crown their first ever women's champion, and moi was in the running weeee lol
I knew that Jelena and Ms. TNT (2 of the chicas down here) were on the card, and I was like... awesome, hopefully I'll get to work one of them. I get there, and TWF is like, ok, you're in a triple threat with Jelena and TNT.... SWEEEEET! haha
I finally got to sit down and talk to these girls, both are awesome! Jelena and I hit it off super well, and are now trying to plan a match for FPWA's Halloween show at the end of October haha... I'm so excited!!!
The match itself was a lot of fun... I was supposed to be the hell, TNT a tweener, and Jelena a face... well, the guys and their families watching the show, I think, were just so excited to see women on the show that they were cheering all of us haha. I heeled it up at the beginning... "I'm the hottest woman in this ring... you 2 aren't even in my league..." blah blah blah... TNT grabs me, forearms me, I turn, Jelena hits, turn, TNT hits me, turn Jelena hits me... and they grab me and toss me out of the ring... where I promptly and super clutzily get hung up on the bottom rope with my fat left thigh... where I now have like... a 6 inch bruise across it from the rope haha. They start wrestling in the ring, and Jelena goes to pin TNT, I break it up and go after TNT myself. I'm trying to be uber-heel and choke her and stuff in the corner, and the crowd is cheering me? haha. TNT cuts me off, works me, chops me twice... Jelena comes over and chops me twice. They work me over to the ropes and toss me out again. TNT goes to pin Jelena, I break it up, grab TNT by the hair and bump her. I'm working her and choking her again, she cuts me off, holds me so Jelena can run and hit me. I duck, Jelena hits TNT. I'm laughing, they get in a shoving match. I grab TNT, forearm her, work her, and invite Jelena to help me. We whip her off the ropes, double hiptoss. We both choke her, kick her, etc... pick her up, whip her off... TNT comes up with a desperation flying double clothesline. TRIPLE DOWN LOL. TNT gets up around 5... I get up at 7, end up with a dropkick courtesy of TNT. She dropkicks Jelena. Dropkicks me again, I powder. Dropkicks Jelena, and ends up pinning her for the win, and getting outta there. Now, Jelena's foot was on the rope, ref didn't see it... so she's trying to tell the ref... I run in and clobber her... "What's wrong with you??!!" I'm getting cheered still haha. I cut a promo in the roaming camera, saying I deserve the TWF women's title, no one else.
Fun fun!
Run in the back, take a drink of water... and go out and manage Marc in the next match! haha. He was supposed to be face, and it all worked out because all the fans were all ready cheering me. There were these 2 guys that were workers from Georgia in the crowd... and they see Marc and they're like... "He looks like Balls Mahoney!!" and I go over there and I'm like... "Hey guys.... BALLS. *clap* BALLS. *clap*" and they got a BALLS chant going... Marc was laughing in the ring. Marc went to an 18 minute TIME LIMIT DRAW with this other big guy... Wade? Marc will correct me if I'm wrong. I thought it was an awesome match... and I was super impressed with bothg uys for lasting that long... they were going at it good the whole time.
The end of the show had a battle royal... and there weren't enough guys... so me, Jelena, and TNT ended up going in too... now remember, I had all ready been thrown out of the ring twice in my match, and powdered once haha. So I get in the ring for the battle royal, and TNT grabs my ankles and pulls me out under the bottom... she got eliminated by one of the guys... I eliminated Jelena, and started working with this guy TPT... who threw me out through the middle and top rope... WELL the fans loved me so much that they insisted I hadn't been truly eliminated, so I had to get BACK in, and have TPT throw me over the top haha. I ended up being in the final 4 in the battle royal cuz of this... I didn't mean to! :p
But yeah, Marc and I both had a great time... was great meeting all the new friends in TWF, thanks so much to JR who booked us!!!, and was awesome for me personally to finally get to hang out with TNT and Jelena... especially Jelena... she and I had like hours and hours worth of conversations haha.
I will be very excited if FPWA lets us do the match we want to do... and if they do, there will definitely be video for all to see :)
So I don't hate wrestling like I did these last few weeks... I am in a much better mood... just a little sore, bruised, and tired hehe
IN OTHER NEWS...
On Wednesday... Marc and I will have been married for 2 years!!! YAY!!! I love you Marc!!! :)
Wednesday starts an almost week-long vacation from work for both of us, and the only commitment we have is WXW on Sat. Sept. 20th. Other than that, we plan on hanging out at Busch Gardens, Sea World, Charley's Steakhouse, the beach, Disney World, Universal, etc. etc.! Now that I've had some time to get excited for it, I CAN'T WAIT!!!
