"what really matters..."
I've been anxious for since last weekend... Thoughts about the past and future messed my head for a while... I thought I'd look like some weirdo/psycho when I stepped in THAT house again...
Yeah, I'm dead scared of THE house that made me cry like there was no tomorrow... I just don't know how people would look at me and what they'd tell me, especially when I'm not looking...
I just had to talk to somebody before the 18th came up... I needed somebody to make me stop thinking...
A good long conversation over the phone did it... And it took place around midnight 'til sunrise... Not really the best time to talk, but who else would care anyway?
I then had all the reason to stop being scared... And it was just there, unnoticed... I can be so naive at times... What was it? It wasn't even a "what", but a "who"... Go figure...
April 17th, I still had none to give as a present... I didn't want just any random item... I wanted it to be as special as that cross I used to wear, but I can't really acquire one as soon as I wanted to... So I just told myself that it'd have to wait, and the time spent waiting would make it more special...
I then had the chance to talk with Aedrian that night... I was bored anyway and I wanted to stay on the phone at least until midnight... But, we had to hang up around an hour earlier... I just sent him my greetings by midnight...
Enter April 18th, I just had to be happy no matter what happened that day... It was one of those few days where I feel invincible...
All geared up, I went to my oni-san's... I made a quick stop at a certain 711, and they had Mineshine Milk Tea, that was actually expired... So I had a bottle of Sola Raspberry Iced Tea instead...
A few minutes of walking got me outside THE house... It felt weird... It was so quiet I began to think that maybe they went out instead or something... So I sent him an SMS saying that I was already outside...
It took Aedrian a while to open the gate for me, but what the heck, it was his birthday...
Inside were his set of friends from way back... But they weren't really strangers... I got hold of the PC for a while, then joined that card game they were playing (Blitz, or something), after that was the Gaki No Tsukai, and the Bicho Bicho eating contest came next...
We had dinner afterwards, and everyone was talked like we all knew the other guy... It was fun, but it wasn't through until we played Pinoy Henyo and charades...
Guests were leaving since dinner, and I was last of the guests to leave, as usual... Along with one of his friends, we went out while he accompanied the others to their respective rides home...
He caught up with me just after his friend took the jeep... We sat down and he asked me how the day was... We just talked for about half an hour, or longer... I didn't really want to go home yet, but it was already midnight, we both knew we had more things to do tomorrow, so I told him to go back to the house so I can finally leave...
With the day over, I thought I deserved a good night's rest... But I was wrong... I immediately rode a bus upon arriving EDSA, then walked along Boni Ave... Problem was, some bloody creep locked me out of the house... He locked the gate and even the house doors leaving me helpless outside...
That creep then told me to sleep elsewhere because if I force myself in the house, there's gonna be trouble... I sat down on the porch and started thinking of any place I stay at 'til morning... And gladly, someone replied...
So with my bag I went off to Nona's... And it was already past 1am and there I was one the road, tired and sleepy... But I managed to get to her place in one piece (and my first time to go on my own)...
Once inside, I just fixed myself, changed my shirt, drank water, and sat down... I fell asleep while waiting for Nona to get home...
Around 5am, almost sunrise, Nona came in and woke me up... Mind you, she was , uhm, not herself... Whatever... After about half an hour of shinanigans, we finally fell asleep, with both of us tired from wherever we came from...
Past 9am, the phone was ringing... It woke me up and as soon as Nona picked it up, I kinda knew what was to happen... It was time for their classes... Nona got herself together 'til 10am so they could start, and I left them since I had another long day ahead of me...
I rode a bus that had this cool action film playing, I just wish I knew what movie it was so I could start/finish it... I don't even know who the action star was... *sigh*
Upon getting off the bus, I immediately went inside the nearest 711, looking for milk tea, but they still didn't have it, so the next stop was home...
I wasn't really happy going back home... The creep was still there, the house is a mess, nobody really bothered making breakfast OR lunch, dishes were piled in the sink, and the creep was playing OPM music that I really wasn't fond of... I like the house better on weekdays where everything is almost in order...
I whipped up some food for lunch then I took a bath, and the creep kept on shouting and slamming the door telling me to hurry up and I haven't stayed in the bathroom for 5 minutes...
My dad finally got home and it was time for me to depart thinking I'd be late again...
And yet again I was wrong... I took the train and when I got to Gateway, I didn't really find anyone I knew there... I decided to walk around when I stumbled upon my faux son... He... had problems...
So we were discussing it on the way to SM Cubao... It was my first time talking about the kind of problem he was having, and well, I'm not entirely sure how to help him... But I just kept talking and listening...
I played a round of Marvel vs Capcom at WoF... It was quite a long time since I last played there, and I actually won 6 times over challengers... I lost the 7th fight, but then again, Rie wanted to drag me back to Gateway...
Back at Gateway, we kept walking around until Aedrian finally sent me an SMS telling us to meet him at the foodcourt...
They had 2 boxes of pizza then and a big bottle of soda... I was expecting more company, but there was only one guy with him... We sat down, introduced the two strangers, then starting talking until we saw those people who seem to be uhm, gay, and they had bandannas and scarves that made them look like terrorists... We were laughing at them 'til all of them left...
We ate one of the pizzas and consumed half of the soda... Bored and all, we went inside Timezone for a round of karaoke... I'm not really fond of handling a microphone, I'm better off singing without it... Karaoke was fun, they sang the Alphabet song, and a song from VST & Company...
Around 6pm, Nona & company were playing Drummania upstairs, so we went up just to find out they still had credits on the machine, so we played more games...
I never really learned how to play basketball, so when we shot hoops, I was kinda surprised I didn't get the lowest score... Aedrian did... Lol...
Next, Manuel and Aedrian played a round of air hockey... And nii-san lost again... *laughs*
I was at the Drummania machine when they asked me to play a game... Final Furlong... Well, I already played it before, so it was no big deal... We had Ejie play it instead who got tired before the race ended... Then nii-san's turn... *laughs* Uh, he played it like a worm trying to ride a horse... LMAO! Sorry, he really played it in the most embarrassing way that were glad kids didn't see it...
And lastly, there was Paradise Lost, a shooting game... Geez, I though I had bad aim, but nii-san makes me look like king of the game... Lol... We lost the game some 5-10 minutes after starting, and we had a grand total of 116 kills, 80 of which were mine...
Okay, enough of owning... We were supposed to start the game package when we had technical problems... Stupid management...
I accompanied Nona to the ATM center, but she also had trouble with her transaction...
After sorting out the problem with Timezone, we started playing games like crazy again... From The Fast and the Furious to Percussion Freaks 5th Mix, Dance Freaks to Tekken, Marvel vs Capcom 2 to The House of the Dead, all of which ended around 9pm...
It was then dinner time... More talk, food and drinks... And it was getting late so we started walking out of the mall so smokers could burn a stick or two... Rie had to go home right after we got out of the mall, he had "things" to do...
Nii-san was planning to have the remainder of out company walk all the way to his house... Which eventually ended up in a jeepney ride instead... More teasing, chit chat, and anxiety on my part... The day was nearing its end, and well, I was never happy with goodbyes...
At Aedrian's house, Nona just abused the PC, Shinden took a nap, so I just went outside for some fresh air and stare at the moon... I felt like being alone for a while...
Ejie then goes out of the house and sits besides me... He suddenly started talking to me about his problems... Love problems to be more specific... They were in the verge of breaking up... He then got a phone call, it was his girlfriend... They were "arguing" or whatever you call it... It got me teary-eyed... I felt bad about the guy...
When they hung up, all I did was just ask and listen... He was... tired... not just physically, might I add... I went back in for another glass of water and went back to being sentimental under the full moon... I continued talking to Ejie hoping that maybe I could console the fella... I wish...
Midnight was just around the corner and Nona finally decided to leave... I was unhappy, I admit, I still wanted to talk with my nii-san... But... Never mind...
We took a cab to Nona's place... Then Shinden wanted to buy some cigarettes, so we left Ejie and Nona to buy stuff at the nearest 711...
On the way, the road felt like Silent Hill... Really, with the fog and creatures as the only thing missing...
Shinden and I talked about our opinions on Ejie's problems... We picked up some drinks and grub, then waked our way back... He was telling me how he wanted to lie down and stare at the moon, or how it was the perfect time to write... I wanted to lie down on the roof myself...
Back at the house, they did their own thing... I just took the DS and let time fly... Words were scarce for a while, we were just there, I almost felt empty if it weren't for the fact that there were friends nearby...
I fell asleep hours later, and I think I already forgot what happened before that...
I think I'll end this entry right here and now, it's pretty long already, and it already covered what I wanted to say and remember... Otanjobi Omedetto, Nii-san...
