Sunday was awesome! 9 of us here at EMF decided to go to Myrtle Beach, since we had the day off. We swam in the ocean, which was suprisingly warm to me...I'm used to swimming in the ocean all the way down in Florida-not North Carolina :-) We all got a lot of sun-but not too much. Around 5, one car group decided to go back to Greensbor, while 4 of us stayed around to have dinner and to walk around some shops. We ate at Dick's Last Resort, where all of the waiters are rude and make you these huge white hats with derogatory things about you written on them. My room mate's said "I'm the whole reason the whole football team has mono." An oriental girl received one saying, "I'm from Taiwaan", Ben received one saying, "I spent all of my money trying to pimp out these hoes" and of cours mine says,"Thanks for the "Big Hooters" DNA Mom!
Anyways, it was a blast and I'm so glad that we could get away for the day.
Yesterday I had my first rehearsal with the orchestra playing Strauss 1. It went fine...the srtings will hopefully practice their parts and progressively get better throughout the week. I can't believe I play on Friday! I'm sooOOooooOOOOooo excited! My dress is really pretty :-)
My next rehearsal is at 11:10am today, so I need to go warm-up.
