Some things I've come across on the web that you might like:

1. Musician Jonathan Coulton posts a very interesting post on online piracy. Fave quote:

"Make good stuff, then make it easy for people to buy it. There’s your anti-piracy plan."

2. Former Clerk of the Privy Council Alex Himelfarb blogs about austerity. Fave quote:

"A good rule of thumb for public policy is that when we are told that there is no alternative, that usually means the opposite: that not only is there an alternative but it is probably one that we would prefer if it were offered."

3. Seth Godin muses about working more vs. accepting more risks. Fave quote: "... after hour 24, there are no more hours left."

4. People following the recent gay marriage "crisis" in Canadian law will be pleased to learn that the Government is closing the loophole to confirm the validity of same sex marriages regardless of whether the couples' home jurisdiction permits same sex marriage. Whew.

5. For people who have no time but love TED, or people who don't know TED at all: TEDquotes

6. Good advice generally: How to Jumpstart your Creative Career in a Bad Economy
