As I watch the NBA playoffs, my thoughts.
1. Nowitzki going 0-4 in the 4th, plus unable to outrebound Dwyane Wade, Udonis Haslem, or any number of smaller players, just confirms everything I've been saying about him.
2. Even if you hate the officiating, you can't hate Wade's efforts, his ability to get inside, and his unfailing ability to make EVERY clutch shot.
3. Alonzo Mourning earned his championship ring with the effort tonight. Haslem also played an extraordinary game.
4. This is such a valuable series for the following lesson: MAKE YOUR FREE THROWS.
5. Dallas is 1-5 in games decided by 3 or less in the playoffs. Make that 1-6.
6. Nice pass at the end of the game, Dirk. You might as well throw the ring away.
